Tears and Tequila
Because bad choices make good stories

Hello World!
I learnt from a young age that it is impossible to keep a diary secret - my mother routinely found my diary's and subsequently had an in depth read of teenage love life and more mortifying the entry of me losing my virginity.
After burying away my treasured teenage journals in a secret hiding place about 10 years ago, I couldn't bare to destroy them or throw them out in case the bin men discovered them and had a laugh at my expense.
A few years ago, I refer to this as D- Day, I discovered that my diary's had all fallen into the possession of my then boyfriend.
I say fallen but in actual fact he had raided my bedroom, gone through every draw, every cupboard and eventually found them hidden in a shoe box inside a bag, stuffed in the back of my built in wardrobe, so at no point could he have accidentally found them as he later claimed!
I only became aware that they were missing when he rang me quoting extracts.
His defence for this psycho stalking act was and I quote, 'I just need to know everything about you'.
It is safe to say that I seem to only attract the worst and weirdest men!
Since that day I vowed to never write a journal ever again!
But I have found this extremely difficult so I have decided to write this blog, as hiding it in plain site on the Internet seems like a safer option than hiding it in my cupboard!
